Campus Cupboard Topic of Oct. 23 Open Forum

The Staff Senate open forum on Wednesday, October 23 will focus on the Augsburg College Campus Cupboard and how to support this critical program. Starting at 1 p.m., Lynn Ellingson and Brian Noy will discuss the program, current needs among Augsburg students, and how Augsburg staff and employees can support Campus Cupboard.

Mann receives Auggie Pride Award for September

Joe Mann, web manager in the Office of Marketing and Communication, has been awarded the Auggie Pride Award for the month of September. Mann was nominated for his efforts in re-launching the College website after a redesign of the site. He worked particularly hard to make the site compatible with mobile devices. Please join the Staff Senate in congratulating Joe.

The Auggie Pride Incentive Program comes out of Staff Senate’s desire to recognize outstanding staff on a more regular basis (monthly), and tap the collective mind power for great ideas. The Staff Senate meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month during the school year. Open forums are on the fourth Wednesday of the month from Noon-12:30 p.m. in the Riverside Room, Christensen Center. All staff are welcome to attend!

First Open Forum for Fall 2013

Augsburg College Staff Senate would like to invite you to its first Open Forum of the academic year 2013-14. The Senate hosts its open forum on the fourth Tuesday of each month.

All are welcome to attend. This month Justin Lind-Ayres, associate college pastor, will be available for discussion and questions. Please plan on attending this special opportunity to learn more about Justin and the work in Campus Ministry.
